The Root Canal Specialists is a dental practice limited to endodontics, the specialty that deals with diseases and injuries of the dental root and structure. Our specialty utilizes root canal therapy, root canal retreatment, and root canal surgeries to help get your teeth back to health. Our goal is making sure that our treatment is performed in a manner that’s as pain free as possible!
Specialty practices receive patients who have been “referred” from general dentists and other specialists for root canal treatment. Our patients are not only you but also our dental and medical colleagues who referred you here.
We will take every measure to ensure that your procedure is in no way uncomfortable or painful. In most cases we will inject a small amount of anesthesia to gently numb a concentrated area of your mouth. For most patients, the feeling of numbness usually subsides after 2-8 hours depending on how quickly you metabolize the solution.
Will I need a follow up appointment?
Yes, for most root canal treatments, patients must return to their general dentist for a permanent restoration of the tooth.
In some circumstances where we would like to monitor the healing of your tooth, you will be asked to return to our office. We will send a reminder notice to you when you are due for a recall appointment.
Fees and Insurance
The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment. During your first visit we will discuss the probable number of visits, their length, and the fees involved. Endodontic fees usually range from $900 to $1,500 and it is our policy that your care is paid for at the time of treatment. Because of the unique nature of our practice we will do our best to estimate your portion of treatment based upon your insurance coverage percentage and remaining benefits. However, this is just an estimate.
We do participate with Care Credit. It is a credit card offered for dental, health and veterinary needs. This is no interest financing available for 6 months. Apply in our office or at APPLY
